As referenced on the Team Cymru pages the last 5 IPv4 blocks have been allocated, the IPocalypse really is right here, right now. Of course, it will be some considerable time I expect before anyone realises the significance of this, in spite of the frothily debated issues in technical circles. Such is the state of the mess that there is little hope of most SMEs even being able to look at IPv6 right now.
I’m sure everyone is reassured knowing that Facebook will be available via IPv6, it’ll help with their plan to turn the open net into a walled garden anyway.
