My career has taken me from technical support, through Unix and network engineering roles into service delivery and management. I hit my first board-level appointment in my mid-thirties having been both a technical, and service quality leader in the organisation where I became IT director.
I left the financial services world to do some independent consulting and subsequently formed Skelton Thatcher Consulting with my friend and colleague Matthew Skelton. I’ve spent the last few years consulting with organisations moving through DevOps and Continouus delivery transformations.
Values I look for in both teams and organisations I work with include, a team focus, openness, transparency, collaboration, approachable, responsible and human.
At heart I am a problem solver and the most interesting area for that is where teams come together to combine and deliver services, products and solutions for customers and businesses.
