My career journey has taken me from operations and technical support, through Unix
and network engineering to service delivery and management. My first board-level appointment as IT Director was at an FSA (now FCA) regulated company where I served as both a technical, and service quality leader in the organisation.
After 15 years in the financial services world, I did some independent consulting and subsequently formed Skelton Thatcher Consulting with Matthew Skelton, spending the last few years working with organisations moving through DevOps and continuous delivery transformations.
I value a team focus, openness, transparency, collaboration, approachability and balance in my work.
I like to be a problem solver, and I think some of the most interesting areas are where teams come together to combine and deliver services, products and solutions for customers and businesses.
